![]() ![]() : \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\iaStorA.sys I've been using this backup program for years, and it's definitely not malware. The file is in use by one or more active processes. Program starts automatically without user intervention. Uses the Windows Registry to run each time the user logs on. The file appears to be part of an installation package or setup program. Program is code signed with a valid Authenticode certificate. Time indicates that the file appeared recently on this computer. This file is probably created by an individual. One or more antivirus vendors have indicated that the file is malicious.Įntropy (or randomness) indicates the program is encrypted, compressed, or obfuscated. Location C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft Game Launcher Since hitmanpro is the only security system that detects this file as malware, neither my Eset Smart Security 10 antivirus nor malwarebytes recognize it as a threat. I ask if this detection is a false positive.
